Kankakee Training Center for the Disabled, Inc. exists to help adults with developmental disabilities in Kankakee, IL live to their full potential in every area of their lives. We work with adults who are age 18 and up, all the way to senior citizens. Through KCTC, our consumers can participate in programs ranging from residential to rehab to vocational.

For seniors living with developmental disabilities in Kankakee, our senior program is designed to enhance their daily lives. We work on improving communication skills, maintaining functional skills through recreation and leisure activities, providing opportunities for community outings, and fulfilling socialization needs.

For developmentally disabled Kankakee adults, we have also developed a program that allows them to have a real job! By working in our Production program, our consumers learn important skills through vocational training and put those skills to good use by providing a product for our valued customers. All of our programs strive to allow adults living with developmental disabilities in Kankakee, IL to become contributing members of our community.

Throughout all of our programs for the developmentally disabled in Kankakee, our consumers are cared for and supervised by qualified professionals who specialize in this field. Our staff is made up of quality individuals who care for Kankakee’s adults who live with developmental disabilities.
