K.C.T.C. operates a not for profit business which provides adults with developmental disabilities the opportunity to acquire skills necessary to become more productive, contributing members of their community.

General Admission

The primary requirements for admission are that the person with the disability must be a resident of Kankakee County, must not be physically harmful to self or others, must be willing to participate in programming, must have been diagnosed as developmentally disabled before the age of 18, and is at least 18 years old.

The person must have completed the eligible education, which is high school diploma or the equivalent. If the person has not completed the eligible education, the person must be at least 21 years of age.

The person is eligible for the vocational workshop if s/he has a vocational impairment due to the developmental disability.
